Week 59

Hello Family!
What a week! It began with a miracle. Lupe, one of our investigators is wanting to be baptized on June 28th! She is very open to the spirit and wants to know if the Book of Mormon is true.
We were gone most of the week on exchanges. I got to go to Hastings with a Sister Case from Texas! She is so great! Throughout the exchange, she would say things and do things that reminded me of myself at the beginning of my mission. We sat talking during lunch and she expressed to me her fear of not doing enough! She just wants Heavenly Father to be proud of her. I have felt that way many times...so you work harder and harder till finally you don't enjoy yourself. I was able to give her a quote that has helped me throughout my mission so far. It is from President Gordon B. Hinckley...."PLEASE don't nag yourself with thoughts of failure. Don't set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do, in the best way you know how and the Lord will accept your effort." As I shared this with her, we could both feel that Heavenly Father loves us and just wants us to do our best! He is pleased with us. I know that our Heavenly Father is a loving Heavenly Father. He wants us to be happy!

Andrea (nails pictures) is doing so great! Because of her friend in the ward, Sister Snider, and her study from the Book of Mormon,  she has been smoke free! When you look into her eyes, she has more of the spirit! She is happier and wishes to tell all that it is getting a little easier each day! Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. It is helping! This is a testimony to me that members are essential. Andrea needs sister snider checking up on her and being there for her!

Mission Leadership conference was this week and there are all my companions!! How I love these sisters. They have been the best examples to me and I have adored every single one of them.
The mission is focusing on the atonement this month. One of the sisters who is going home this transfer bore her testimony on the atonement. She said, "The atonement means to me, Everlasting Beginnings." This really struck me. The atonement is eternal. Everyday is a new day! Everyday is a new hope! Everyday is another chance! He lives! What Joy this sentence gives. I know that my Redeemer Lives! I love my Savior. I love all of you! This is the  greatest work in the world! Bringing other closer to Christ. This work is our families, our friends, ourselves.
I love you all dearly! Shout of to my dad! Dad- I love you. Thanks for being my friend and hero! Happy Fathers day!
Love,
Sister Call
ALSO! Shout of to Jocelyn! Hey my little friend- congrats on the baby blessing! I sure love you!
