WEEK 62 TRANSFERS

Hi family!
This past week flew by way too fast. Sister Dumont and I were pretty sure that we would not be together so we tried to cherish every moment! I love that sister with all my heart. She has changed my life! Now I am with Sister Nelson! From Colorado! Oh my! She is so great. I love her.
We got a call Thursday morning for transfers from President Weston. He informed me that I am no longer a sister trainer leader and asked me to train and open an area. So honestly, I have been a little homesick for the sisters, the assignment, sister Dumont and Kearney. It feels odd not planning for exchanges and focusing on the sisters. But! I am so grateful for prayer. As I have prayed "with all the energy of heart" I have felt my Saviors love and I know He is with me. It is an adjustment, but Sister Nelson has so much faith and she is soo willing to work and learn. I know this is where we both need to be. It all comes down to trusting in Him.
We are in the Tranquility Park ward in Omaha :) The ward is huge and there are many converted members in the ward. We got to meet with our bishop as soon as we got into the area. He is a great man! We love him! We asked him for priesthood blessings to start out on the right foot in this area. We have prayed and planned, our focus for the next week is getting to know all the active members in the ward.
The pictures...saying goodbye to my kearney family (the cammacks). Saying goodbye to Sister Dumont. I love her. Sister Nelson and I!! :)
I want you all to know that I love you. Thank you for your prayers! I know this is the Lord's work and it does bring the greatest joy! We are so excited to meet the members are find through them people to teach. I am soo grateful for this opportunity because it is helping both of us to completely rely on the Savior and the spirit.
Have an amazing week!
Love,
Sister Call

Week 61

Hello everyone!
This week has been a week of miracles! Sister Dumont and I have been so blessed to see Heavenly Fathers hand in our life's so much this week!
We went on exchanges in Kansas! The sisters are working on communicating. :) This has been something I have learned these past few months. Communication is everything in a relationship!
We did service for this little old lady names Arlys. She is crazy and loves to do garage sales. We were able to meet some really neat people at the garage sale.
There are fireflies here in Nebraska! So of course, sister dumont and i and the members that we live with went out to catch them one night. We caught seven! It is the most exciting thing running around in the dark following little light bums. :) I love the cammacks!

Yesterday, 2 of our investigators came to church!! Debi and Gary! They are such a sweet couple. They feed us weekly and afterwards we sit down and have a lesson with them. We sang in church yesterday and so finally they said they would come and they did! So many people talked to them from the ward, especially our stake president. They really enjoyed it! We are praying that they will keep progressing. That was such a tender mercy!
Sister Dumont and I are still having a blast! Last night we found 2 new investigators last night. We had been praying and really wanting to find someone! and Heavenly Father blessed us. He really grants unto us according to our desires.
I love this work! I was THRILLED to hear that Grandpa and Grandma fox are seeing such miracles! :) HOW EXCITING! Way to be patient and trust in the Lords timing. Everything works out as long as we trust in Him!
I love you all dearly and I know this work is what brings true and lasting joy! Keep up the great work!
I love you,
Sister Call

Week 60

Sister JOCELYN Wrubbel and Sister Paige Allan, the York Sisters, Lan and Sister Dumont (she's been in Kearney for almost 7 months!)
Hello dear family!
This week has been filled with miracles and learning. Heavenly Father has taught Sister Dumont and I so much.
We have been gone from Kearney almost the entire week. We went from North platte to Grand Island and eventually York Nebraska. :) We sure love our travels and being with the sisters!
This week we learned that our weaknesses come from our Heavenly Father. He loves us and wants us to rely on our Savior Jesus Christ. We also learned to NEVER underestimate the power of the Book Of Mormon. This book of the most correct of any book and has the power to protect our families.
Karen is set for baptism!!! It was a miracle and it all stemmed from the Book of Mormon. She was reading the Book of Mormon and baptism kept coming up. It is amazing how Heavenly Father speaks directly to us through that book!

It is tornado season in Nebraska! This is an oncoming tornado that hit Kearney the other night. It WAS SO EXCITING! Sister Dumont and I were so happy to share this excitement. :) I ADORE NEBRASKA and the crazy weather.
I know this is the Lords work! I know Jesus Christ lives and i am so grateful for apostles and prophets that are special witnesses of Him.
I love you all! Thank you for your examples!

Have an amazing week!
Love,
Sister Call

Week 59

Hello Family!
What a week! It began with a miracle. Lupe, one of our investigators is wanting to be baptized on June 28th! She is very open to the spirit and wants to know if the Book of Mormon is true.
We were gone most of the week on exchanges. I got to go to Hastings with a Sister Case from Texas! She is so great! Throughout the exchange, she would say things and do things that reminded me of myself at the beginning of my mission. We sat talking during lunch and she expressed to me her fear of not doing enough! She just wants Heavenly Father to be proud of her. I have felt that way many times...so you work harder and harder till finally you don't enjoy yourself. I was able to give her a quote that has helped me throughout my mission so far. It is from President Gordon B. Hinckley...."PLEASE don't nag yourself with thoughts of failure. Don't set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do, in the best way you know how and the Lord will accept your effort." As I shared this with her, we could both feel that Heavenly Father loves us and just wants us to do our best! He is pleased with us. I know that our Heavenly Father is a loving Heavenly Father. He wants us to be happy!

Andrea (nails pictures) is doing so great! Because of her friend in the ward, Sister Snider, and her study from the Book of Mormon,  she has been smoke free! When you look into her eyes, she has more of the spirit! She is happier and wishes to tell all that it is getting a little easier each day! Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. It is helping! This is a testimony to me that members are essential. Andrea needs sister snider checking up on her and being there for her!

Mission Leadership conference was this week and there are all my companions!! How I love these sisters. They have been the best examples to me and I have adored every single one of them.
The mission is focusing on the atonement this month. One of the sisters who is going home this transfer bore her testimony on the atonement. She said, "The atonement means to me, Everlasting Beginnings." This really struck me. The atonement is eternal. Everyday is a new day! Everyday is a new hope! Everyday is another chance! He lives! What Joy this sentence gives. I know that my Redeemer Lives! I love my Savior. I love all of you! This is the  greatest work in the world! Bringing other closer to Christ. This work is our families, our friends, ourselves.
I love you all dearly! Shout of to my dad! Dad- I love you. Thanks for being my friend and hero! Happy Fathers day!
Love,
Sister Call
ALSO! Shout of to Jocelyn! Hey my little friend- congrats on the baby blessing! I sure love you!

Scary Scabies

I think that she might of talked about this in her letter.

Week 58

We have seen Heavenly Father's hand so much in this week! I know we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and answers every prayer we speak!
1. We began this week with pretty much no food and no dinner appointments. Oops :)
So, we prayed and repented and asked Heavenly Father to have mercy on us and help us have food this week. The result: we miraculously have dinner and food given to us every single day this week. Heavenly Father answers prayers!
2. Last Sunday, we discovered that Sister Dumont had scabies. We think it might have come from our dearly beloved Karen. :) She has been in a nursing home lately and that is where it is a lot. We have no idea though. :) SO! We went to the doctors and alas, it was scabies. The doctors, doctor Boos was so nice! She knew an LDS young man back in college and spoke very highly of him. Well, here is my bad. I felt that I needed to give her something and invite her to take the lessons, but I didn't!! So, later...I prayed and repented. I asked Heavenly Father to give me a second chance to invite her! AND HE DID! The other day my eye started swelling for no apparent reason, so now we are going to hopefully see her today! Heavenly Father answers all of our prayers. What a fun week! HAHA!
Karen is doing alright. She is going through a trial of her faith right now. We invited her to read Ether 12. Our lesson with her was really good this week though. Satan is so real and he is working on her so much. She knows so many people in Kearney and when she joins the church, I know Kearney is going to just boom! Keep praying for her please.
Andrea, one of our recent convert is trying to quit smoking. Sister Snider, a member of our ward is working with her. We are all going the month of June with NO SUGAR! and Andrea is going the month of June with NO SMOKING! It is exciting and more of the ward is supporting her.
This week has been so great and very eye opening. I have gained a stronger testimony of the power of the atonement. We went on exchanges with some sisters. One of the sisters has been struggling feeling like she is close to Heavenly Father. This reminded me of the time not too long ago when I was struggling feeling unworthy and worthless. I look back and see how Jesus Christ healed. I didn't realize it then, but the atonement was at work and healed me. I know that everything we go through is for someone else!
I love you all!

Love,
Sister Call
