Hi Family!
This week was Zone Conference and
it was the best one so far! It was all about families and focusing our
teaching on the family! As a mission we studied the family proclamation.
That is a sacred document that needs to be studied. Building our
families on the foundation of Jesus Christ is essential! President
Weston always says, "When you fail to plan, you plan to fail." He then
proceeded to commit us to make a plan for our future! Plan out
everything, school, work, how many children, who you will marry, where
you will live...and so now. I was flabbergasted at first! I thought, "I
am not supposed to be thinking about this! What are you saying
President!" But, this came from Elder Nelson, an apostle. It is
important to plan and then let Heavenly Father change it to something
better! He cannot change it if there isn't one. So I made a plan :)
This week I have been learning a lot about love! We
had leadership conference this week and President said, "Everyone of you
should have the goal of loving people unconditionally." I have been
thinking about this A LOT! I have done a lot of soul searching and this
is now a huge goal of mine. The atonement is for everyone no matter who
they are or what they do. Its just a matter of having faith in the
atonement and letting it work in peoples lives!
I love Kearney! These people are coming closer to Jesus
Christ! I know that the atonement is at work in everyone's lives. We
just need to be patient and love them unconditionally. I love my Savior
Jesus Christ and that is my motivation.
