WEEK 78

Hello Everyone!

This week was full of great things! BROTHER JAMES BROWN WENT THROUGH THE TEMPLE! and we got to go :) I will never forget that experience. Seriously, it was a tender mercy. I am so grateful for the temple! We were worried that we were not going to be able to go, but everything worked out. Heavenly Father takes care of us and grants us according to our desires. Answer to prayer!

Another tender mercy, I got to see SISTER NELSON!! BAHH! She came with her companion to see Meet the Mormons. :) She is the most incredible missionary. I am beyond proud of her...I can't even imagine how please Heavenly Father must be with her. She is going to be such a strength for this mission.

The ward is becoming more and more missionary minded! We passed around a team up calendar in relief society and almost all of the women signed up to go out with us this week! WHAT!? Hearts are changing and blessings are going to follow.

The gospel is all about our Hearts isn't it? I love how in the Book of Mormon, there are several "mighty change of heart." Having this change of heart takes time, but it is worth it! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is worth it. God loves us! Jesus Christ means everything to me.

I love you all! I pray that you are getting to see opportunities to share what is in your heart. We are here for the greatest cause! To share the gospel and stand as a witness of Him!

Love,

Week 77

never know what to put in the subject...So I put a smiley face because I am happy.

This week we saw so many great things! We got to go to Meet the Mormons! Ron came and so did Heather and Roger (picture). The movie is so great and please everyone go and see it!

We also had exchanges this week. I got to go out with Sister Fuller. She is the most down to earth, real sister missionary I have ever met. As we talked we both realized that we have been both struggling with the same things! It was a testimony to me that Heavenly Father knows me and what I need. I was so grateful. :)

Side note, so I have been feeling that I need to try to go with James Brown to the temple...he is an older gentleman I taught at the beginning of my mission and now he is going to the temple :)  A year later! Anyway, so I have been feeling like I really need to try...but I have been embarrassed because there are lots of sister missionaries that he has worked with and loved. Well, it came up again today and we found out he is going to the temple this Thursday! WHHAAA!!?? AND we got permission to go! This is real everyone! It is real! :) I will let you know how it goes :) Please pray that he makes it!

Roger is set for baptism for Nov. 8th! :) We had a lesson with he and Heather last night and invited him to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized! he immediately said yes! They have such a neat family, it has been an honor to be there friend :)

SO...THe Vera's from Kearney came and surprised us! We got this call from a random number. I answered and there was sister Vera! We had lunch together. I love them so much. Seriously, when they packed back up in the car and drove off...I couldn't stop crying! haha. Another tender mercy! Heavenly Father is so aware of each of us. I know this because I have felt how aware He is of me this week.

I love this place! I love this work! Heavenly Father is so aware of each of us. I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

Week 76 General Conference!!!!

ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Ok, but seriously. I feel like general conference is better then Christmas! :)

Wow, this week has been so incredible. Heavenly Father is letting me learn so so much and I am so grateful to Him and my Savior.

So, we had interviews with President Weston this week. He looked at me and ask me one question, "What do you want?" I sat there, unsure what to say. He bore powerful testimony that we cane have anything we want! Since then, in my book of Mormon reading, I have been learning a lot about people and Prophets fighting for what they want. How often do we fight for what we want? Do we know what we want? Then he told me "I hope you have gotten what you wanted from your mission." At first, I felt sick. I had the thought, have I wasted my mission because I haven't always known what I want? I walked away feeling slightly discouraged. But something else he told me, that I will never forget, he said, "The atonement starts now." This brought me a lot of peace and hope. Every day is a new day and we can start now. :)

"As our understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ grows, our desire to share the gospel will increase." PMG 2. This is true!

General Conference was incredible. I learned about focusing on the ONE! This is what the Savior did.  It keeps getting better and better and better! Hopefully our hearts are becoming more open. I pray mine is! Roger and Heather came to General Conference at the church. Sadly, Belle their little one became a little frustrated and they had to leave early, but Roger understood what was said and he seemed to like it! He is so sincere and wants to be a better father.

We almost lost Carol! So, she is having a granddaughter move in and didn't feel like she had time to meet with us. Luckily she let us come and do some service for her. We were praying! We walked into her house and she wanted us to sit down...we were a little confused...she wanted to talk about her questions from her Book of Mormon reading! And she still wants to meet with us. :) Tender Mercy big time!

I love you all so much! I am so grateful for all of your testimonies. They strengthen me and so many others. I have never realized what a gift our testimonies are! They are so special and the most important thing that we have! (someone is conference said that :)

Have a wonderful week! Love,
Sister Call
