Week 69

Hello family and friends!
What a week! Heavenly Father loves each of us so much! He loves me for sure. I will tell you why.
SO, by a miracle and Sister Dumont following the spirit...Sister Nelson and I went to the trail center at the exact time that KAREN WENT!!! :) Bah! As soon as I saw her, sister dumont, sister smith, and sister dinkel my heart just about burst! I couldn't help but think, "this is JOY!"
KAREN IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK! On thursday :) It was an incredible experience getting to see her again. This is all possible because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was such a tender mercy. Heavenly Father loves us.
We also got to have an amazing lessons with Ron! Ron is a miracle. I don't remember if I told you, but we found Ron while walking down the street. He was baptized when he was 18 and now he is 40ish....he hasn't been to church since. We taught him the plan of salvation at a members home (his home teachers home!) It was so perfect. Ron loved it! haha. When members and missionaries work together, miracles happen. :) Ron came to church again :)
Desmond and his family came to church as well! He has not set a baptismal date yet, but it will happen! Their family is so special and we both feel that as they read the Book of Mormon together as a family daily, everything will work out and they will eventually make it to the temple as a family.

We got to go to the temple this week! Bah! I was crying almost the entire time. Multiple times while we were there, I thought of 17 miracles and the young lady that says, "it will all be worth it." With all my heart I know that is true. Having a temple marriage, being worthy of the temple is worth EVERY sacrifice!
We are focusing on the Book of Mormon as a mission right now. I am so grateful for this. Studying and applying the Book of Mormon everyday is essential! It is one of the greatest ways that we can come to know our Savior and apply the atonement everyday.
Thank you for your examples for me. I know the time is now. It sounds like the world is getting worse and worse...please think about how much the gospel has blessed your life and given you hope! then think of those around you and share :)
Have a great week!
Love, Sister Call

Week 68

Hello everyone!
This week has been a long, wonderful week! Lots of miracles...especially at the end of the week!

We had to say goodbye to a lot of sister missionaries this week. The testimony meeting was incredible and I said goodbye to a sister that I admire soo much. Sister Brough. She taught me that without charity we are nothing. She made me want to be better! I love her and we will all miss her.
We also got to be involved in a huge service project our ward put on! We took old paint off of a house in Omaha and began to repaint it. It was raining and we were all laughing and having a blast. I know we are happiest when we are serving others because we are keeping our covenants! Joy!

I said goodbye to a car that was out in kearney for forever! I got to drive it for over 8 months? and then it followed me to Omaha. :) Tender mercy. Its name was grandpa and grandpa is now retired.
We saw miracles yesterday! We got to teach a family from Jamaica! bah! They are amazing. We sang together, laughed together and the spirit was so strong. The father is not a member, but he has been coming to church. We invited him to be baptized and he is going to give us a date on sunday! Our ward mission leader came with us, brother pulley. He is incredible. He was so bold and loving with him. The members here are so faithful and just want to do what is right. I love them with all my heart and I am so grateful for their examples.
I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know He understands us perfectly and that is how He loves us perfectly. I know Heavenly Father loves us! I do not know why things happen, but He has a plan! He really does and we can all find joy that we get to be apart of it! :)
I love you all soo very much! Keep seeing miracles.

Love,
Sister Call
I hope the dinner with the Olsons goes well! Just bear your testimonies and I promise the spirit will touch their hearts! No need to be afraid! Pray for faith.  I know you are what they need and Heavenly Father has put you in their lives for a reason! :) I will be praying for a miracle!

Week 67

Dear Family and friends!
This week has been good. Very humbling. :) Which is good because hopefully we are becoming who Heavenly Father wants us to become.
I know Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us!
1 Nephi 11:17- "And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know that meaning of all things."
This is the story of our lives. We know Heavenly Father loves us...BUT we do not know the meaning of all things. More often then not...we do not know what things happen in our lives, why we have certain weaknesses or certain trials. But we do know that Heavenly Father loves us.
Sister Nelson and I have seen a lot of good things this week! The members are becoming more missionary minded. We were sitting in church yesterday and one of the members got up and shared two missionary experiences she had this week! We were both soo excited. We got to talk to her after church about them and hopefully we will be able to start teaching them. She was telling us more about them and we asked her if she has been praying for this. She responded with a yes! Heavenly Father does answer our prayers. :) Praying with that faith is so important and always works.

I got to see SISTER DUMONT THIS WEEK! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! Sorry for the cowboy hat...its a long story...but sister dumont brought it for me because it was my rapping hat while we were in kearney. :) we would write a little rap for the sisters when they were a star companionship. Good times :)
I love you all! I know this is the Lords work and I know Heavenly Father loves you! Keep praying to bring others closer to Christ. :) It works!

Love,
Sister Call
